This page outlines the Art & Creativity Consortium’s approach to Creative Representation. It is intended for writers and authors seeking considered, professional mediation within European cultural and publishing contexts.
1. Purpose and Scope
The Art & Creativity Consortium (ACC) offers Creative Representation to a limited number of writers and authors whose work demonstrates artistic seriousness and readiness for professional mediation within European cultural and publishing contexts.
Creative Representation is selective. Submission does not imply acceptance, and acceptance does not guarantee publication. All submissions are reviewed manually.
ACC operates as a cultural intermediary; representation is offered only where there is clear editorial, institutional, or strategic alignment.
2. Who This Is For
We are interested in:
- Literary fiction, nonfiction, poetry, and hybrid forms
- Projects with a defined artistic intent and authorial voice
- Works suitable for European editorial, translation, or institutional pathways
We do not represent:
- Academic or technical manuscripts
- Mass-market genre submissions without artistic focus
- Incomplete projects without a clear direction
This clarity is intentional; it protects both applicants and the institution.
3. Review Process and Expectations
- All submissions are reviewed by the ACC editorial committee
- Submissions are evaluated on artistic merit, readiness, and alignment
- Only shortlisted applicants will be contacted
Indicative timeline:
- Receipt confirmation within 10 business days
- Review period of approximately 6–8 weeks
Due to volume, individual feedback cannot be provided for unsuccessful submissions.
4. Representation Terms
If Creative Representation is offered, it is governed by a separate written agreement defining scope, duration, and responsibilities. Representation is never automatic and is never implied by submission.
